Vanessa joined the Tarab Dance Company in 2010 as an established teacher and performer seeking the opportunity to challenge herself in new directions. Vanessa loves to perform Egyptian oriental style, particularly with veil, carving a graceful individual elegance honed over recent years. Her key influences include Samia Gamal and Yasmina of Cairo.

She entered the world of belly dance in 1999 and has continually sought to enhance her love and knowledge of the dance. Having completed the JWAAD Teacher Training Course, and travelling extensively both around the UK and overseas, particularly Egypt and Turkey she has a flourishing network of classes around Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire, enabling her to pass on her passion for the dance.
